MONDAY MANAGEMENT MEETING
At the Monday Management Meeting, the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government reviewed ongoing projects and reinforced commitment to efficient service delivery, improved operations, and strict environmental and public health standards, while commending the management team for their dedication, discipline, and alignment with the shared vision for Agege.
STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION
At the weekly management meeting of Agege Local Government, the leadership team reviewed strategies to further improve service delivery and residents’ welfare. Key areas of focus included strengthening sanitation enforcement, improving environmental management through newly acquired waste compactors, expanding infrastructural projects to more streets, enhancing security measures, promoting economic empowerment, and implementing structured teacher training programmes to support quality education across the community.

Management held its regular Monday meeting at Agege Local Government, where key development priorities were reviewed, including ongoing infrastructure projects and social welfare initiatives such as the 50% food subsidy programme and the free distribution of cooking gas to 4,000 residents. Commencement of a New Administrative Era
The formal inauguration of Hon. Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa as Executive Chairman on Monday, 22nd December 2025, signaled the beginning of a renewed administrative chapter for Agege Local Government. Inspection of Ajegunle and Keke Primary Schools
The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, carried out an inspection of ongoing renovation works at Ajegunle and Keke Primary Schools as part of efforts to strengthen public education infrastructure within the Local Government. Today, the Agege Local Government held a staff forum in collaboration with the Agege Branch of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE).
