LIGHTING UP LITERACY PROGRAMME

Agege Local Government, under the leadership of Hon. Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, hosted the Lighting Up Literacy Programme at the Council Secretariat, with chess champion Tunde Onakoya as Special Guest of Honour. The initiative promoted reading culture among public school students through book distribution and the unveiling of “Tunde Onakoya: The Chess Champion” by Lola Shoneyin, alongside a motivational session and friendly chess match.
